Brandon has been accepted into Austin’s newest 5 person sketch comedy troupe “The Lost Remote.” “I see a ton of potential in this group, and the possibilities seem to be limitless,” he tells us. I know I am looking forward to seeing this mix of live AND recorded sketch comedy. Brandon also has a special place in his heart for comedy troupes saying, “The Kids in the Hall are personal heroes of mine, and to be in a troupe so similar is really a dream come true. I can’t begin to explain how excited I am about this.”
It was during the early years, and his impressions of Jim Carrey and Dana Carvey that comedy was at least one of the avenues Brandon would take in his road to stardom.
Later The Kids in the Hall, Will Ferrell, Nick Swardson, and other great comics would be a tremendous influence on Brandon’s comedic acting.
The Lost Remote has taken a hiatus to work on individual projects, but hopefully they will join back up again at a later point. Continuing “The American Dream”, creating a successful sketch comedy troupe. Till then Brandon will be working on his improv comedy using his magic as a utility device.
